Renovation has always been part of our lives, and together we’ve transformed countless homes, rentals, and properties through thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship.
Brooks is a talented tradesman and builder who brings precision, problem-solving, and experience to every project — from small repairs to complete remodels.
I (Laurie) manage the design side with a love of organization, cozy details, and creating spaces that truly work for the families who live in them. We each bring something different — and together, we make a pretty great team.

Over the years, we’ve created custom IKEA kitchens, refreshed aging homes, renovated long-term and short-term rentals, and tackled projects of every size. Whether we’re painting a room or reimagining an entire layout, we approach each project with care, creativity, and a little bit of wonder.
Our Farm
When we’re not renovating, you’ll find us at Thunderbird Farm, our family-owned Indigenous farm with our joyful (and sometimes chaotic) collection of animals.​ The farm wasn’t part of the plan — but it quickly became part of our story. A run-down farmhouse, a century barn, overgrown fields… Most people saw a project too big. We saw potential.
Since 2022, we’ve restored the farmhouse, revived the land, welcomed animals, and built a space for family, guests, and meaningful experiences. It’s become a place full of laughter, learning, and connection — and a reminder of why we love creating warm, welcoming spaces for others.

Everything we do — from a fresh coat of paint to a full remodel — is rooted in family, creativity, and a desire to bring comfort and beauty into everyday spaces. Renovation is our craft, but creating spaces people truly love to live in is our purpose.

We live right here in Whitby, and being local matters to us. So does your budget. We’ve been through renovations ourselves — the dust, the decisions, the stress, and the bills — and we know how important it is to create a plan that feels realistic, thoughtful, and manageable. We believe good design shouldn’t feel out of reach.
